Biography: Daughter of the historian and archivist Ivan
Bojnicic of Knin who provided her with a decent Fine Arts
education and sent her on study trips abroad, in order to
familiarise herself with famous art galleries in Italy,
Germany and Belgium. From 1936 to 1943 she worked as a librarian
and head of the graphic collection in the Croatian State
Archives in Zagreb. She excelled as a bookplate artist.
She compiled a book of town coats of arms. She is regarded
by historians as the most outstanding "heraldic painter"
of the first half of the 20th century in Croatia.
