Nikola
Reiser - biography
Nikola Reiser is born on 14 October 1918 in Mirnovac near
Samobor. From 1939 to 1943 he studied at Academy of Fine
Arts in Zagreb in the class of professor Vladimir Becić.
In 1945 continued his studies. Graduated in the class of
professor O. Postružnik. From 1969 to 1983 taught at the
Academy in Zagreb, ran a Master`s Workshop for painting
(1978-1985) and has been a member of the Croatian Academy
of Science and Arts (HAZU) since 1977.
He published several folios of graphics. Solo exhibitions
in Zagreb, Split, Toronto, Bern etc. Lives and works in
Zagreb.
