is the best natural harbour on the island
of Brac. Nice coves with sand and pebble
beaches stretch in the vicinity of the
harbour (Pasika, Osibova, Lucice, Maslinova).

nice public beach is in the cove of Vlaska.
Sports and recreational facilities include
football, basketball and volleyball playgrounds,
boccia grounds and table tennis.Milna
developed at the beginning of the 17th
century. The parish church Our Lady of
the Annunciation from 1783 has a monumental
Baroque front and a cycle of stuccoes
(Rococo) from the early 19th century.
The late Baroque altarpiece The Annunciation
is a work by Sebastian Ricci. Apart from
the sculptures of Sts. Joseph and Jerome
in the parish, Ivan Rendic has made a
tombstone of Stjepan Tomas with Secession
and folklore motifs. In the cove of Osibova
are the ruins of a small Gothic church.
- During the Napoleonic wars, the Russian
fleet had its base in Milna (1800). Milna
ACI Marina, the only marina on the island,
has 200 berths in the sea and 20 places
on the land.
MILNA, a small town and harbour in the
cove of the same name, on the western
coast of the island of Brac, 20 km southwest
of Supetar. Economy is based on farming,
shipbuilding, fishing, processing of fish
and tourism. The cove of Milna (Luka Milna),
with a large outer and a small, shallow
inner part. Milna is located on the regional
