Plitvice Lakes National Park
It is hard to suggest what season should be chosen to visit Plitvice National park. Is it going to be summer when visiting the park will give you a refreshing experience, fall when colours are exceptional, winter when most of the park is frozen or spring when it all blooms-Plitvice lakes are exceptional and world known!

Surrounded by three mountains part of the Dinaric Alps: Pljesevica mountain and the Mala Kapela mountain and Medvedak, with twelve Upper Lakes and the four Lower Lakes, waterfalls and caves makes Plitvice National park truly amazing place to visit. With the specific geological and hydro geological phenomenon of karst, full of plants, algae, mosses, surrounded by thick beech, spruce, and fir forest, makes Plitvice National Park a very sensitive biodynamic system.
Besides flora and phenomenon of karst, its animal and bird diversity is unique. The park is home to rare fauna like European brown bear, wolf, eagle, owl, lynx, wild cat, capercaillie, 126 species of birds and many other species of animals.
